Charmie... I had no idea. I wish I knew. I'm sorry we never reconnected after I last saw you, taking your ACET a year ago. We should have. I should have put more effort. But I didn't. And now you're gone.

Okay, so my mom comes home and asks me to accompany her to this dinner with some of her PR friends. I didn't want to go but she insisted, so I went.

The dinner went okay. We went to The Good Earth, this Japanese resto on Metrowalk. Her friends were really nice; they asked me about school and stuff. They talked about their jobs as PR guys, which I found interesting, since what they were talking about, we were studying in COM101.

Anyway, at one point during the dinner, I was talking to my mom about the discussion , and I had about iPods and music. They asked me why I wanted an iPod; I said because I LOVED music and singing.

At the end of the dinner, they gave my mom a gift for all her support for their PR firm, and they said something really cryptic while giving it to her. "We especially want you to open it in front of your daughter."

When I saw my mom opening the bag and I saw the silhouette of an i and a P, I started freaking out. Seriously! The two PR guys were laughing at me, but I didn't care. All I was thinking about was, "Oh shit oh shit oh SHIT! Are you freaking kidding me?! Is that what I think it is?!"

It was. ^_^ Screw Beachboy; I'm as happy as a clam.

In short, I now have an iPod-mini. It's silver and tiny and gorgeous. ^_^ God is goooooood. Thank YOU!

The 'MY GUY' Survey
1. Importante ba looks niya?
- Well, it's not the most important, but it's pretty darn relevant too. I won't lie.

2. Ang height:
- As long as he's even the slightest bit taller than me. That's not hard to be. Almost everyone above the age of fifteen is taller than me.

3. Type of food:
- ... seriously, if this matters to anyone, they ought to get their heads examined.

4. Kailangan ba mayaman?
- No. I don't care. Honestly. Kaya ko namang manlibre sa dates eh, right? *winks at a certain someone*

5. Matalino:
- He has to have sense and has his priorities (studies) straight.

6. May respeto:
- Of course!! Respect for me and respect for himself.

7. Seryoso sa buhay:
- Well... not too serious that he can't laugh at stupid things, but serious enough to have focus and know what he wants.

8. Sport niya?
- It really, really doesn't matter if he's involved in any sports. I'd be surprised, though, if he wasn't even the least bit interested in basketball.

9. Dapat ba nagkikita kayo everyday?
- Not necessarily, but it would be nice to spend a little time with each other every weekday.

10. Should call or text you:
- Yeahhhh. It's a given, dude.

11. Dapat ba may abs?
- Hahahaha! Again, a nice bonus, but not a NEED.

12. Pierce:
- Hopefully none... but, y'know, if I love the guy...

13. Sweet ba dapat:
- Yeah, of course! Thoughtful and considerate.

14. Jealous:
- Not super jealous, but jealous enough to make me laugh sometimes.

15. Should smoke:
- It's not a SHOULD, but it's fine either way. Basta tanggap din niya.

16. Should drink:
- Him: drink socially, and not just drink for the sake of drinking, and should know his limits, especially if he has to drive home.

17. Mr. Popular or ordinary:
- I'm not so fond of liking popular guys. Too much of a hassle. I find peace with guys who are extraordinary in their own way.

18. Good attitude or good looks:
- Good attitude weighs far more with me.

19. A gentleman:
- YEAH! Or, at least, knows how to treat a girl the right way.

20. Accept you:
- Without question. Same to him, too. But if there are problems, should be willing to talk it through.

21. Make you cry:
- With happiness. ^_^

22. Use you:
- Um, no.

23. Impress you:
- I don't need to be impressed, but that'd be okay

24. Give everything to you:
- I don't need everything, either. I just need HIM, whoever HIM is.

25. Sweetest thing you want him/her to do for you:
- Cook for me/buy me my favorite food as a surprise.
